For this reason the BlowTie can consistenly control this head pressure giving you more consistent results and without losing carbonation in the process.\u003c\/p\u003e\u003cp\u003eTraditional spunding valves that use a simple spring against a seal are flawed right from the beginning as the physical aspects of the design dictate that you will have a significant difference between the opening pressure and closing pressure during opperation.  Brewers have tolerated this imperfection for long enough and now you can control these pressures far more accurately.\u003c\/p\u003e\u003cp\u003eThe BlowTie has been made completely differently taking advantage of a diaphragm to actuate the sealing mechanism that will release pressure from the pressure vessel with much more accurate control pressure.\u003cbr\u003e\u003cbr\u003e\u003c\/p\u003e\u003cp\u003e\u003cstrong\u003eInstructions\u003c\/strong\u003e:\u003cbr\u003eUse the yellow adjustment knob to control the pressure coming out of the pressure vessel.  Clockwise is higher pressure and anticlockwise is lower pressure.\u003cbr\u003eWe would recommend gassing a keg to a known pressure e.g. 15psi then attach your Blow Tie Kit to the keg and adjust to 10psi.\u003c\/p\u003e\u003cp\u003e \u003c\/p\u003e\u003cp\u003e\u003cstrong\u003eNOTE\u003c\/strong\u003e: These small guages enable the regulator to be so compact however for more accurate pressures readings we recommend getting different guages to suit the pressure range you want to use.\u003c\/p\u003e\u003cp\u003e\u003cspan\u003e\u003ca href=\"https:\/\/www.kegland.com.au\/%22%22\/mini-gauge-0-23psi-0-1-5bar-for-inline-duotight-regulator-or-blowtie-spunding-valve\" title=\"0-23psi mini gauge for blowtie or inline regulator\"\u003e\u003c\/a\u003e\u003c\/span\u003e\u003cspan\u003eThese guages are accurate to about 10% of the range of the pressure gauge.  So if you use the lowest range possible it will ensure the best possible accuracy.\u003c\/span\u003e\u003c\/p\u003e\u003cp\u003e\u003cspan\u003e\u003cem\u003eIf you are looking for a compact digital gauge with backlight illumination SEE OUR OTHER LISTING.\u003c\/em\u003e\u003c\/span\u003e\u003c\/p\u003e\u003cp\u003e\u003cspan\u003e\u003cstrong\u003eIMPORTANT WARNING\u003c\/strong\u003e: Do not exceed gauge pressure.  If you set a gauge pressure higher than the graduations on the gauge you can damage the gauge.  (ie if you are using the 0-60psi gauge.
