This recipe will give you something very similar to Guiness. The recipe keeps things simple with just Maris Otter, Flaked Barley and Roasted Barley. The Flaked Barley adds a smoothness and improves head retention. The roasted barley adds a rich, roasty character to the beer which is balanced by the earthy bitterness of the Fuggles hops. Irish Dry Stout is known for its drinkability, with a dry finish, moderate ABV, and a balance of roasty malt and hop bitterness.
