Citra T90 pellets 2024

First crossed in 1990 from parentage including Mittelfruh, East Kent Goldings and Tettnang, Citra® was commercially released in 2007 by the Hop Breeding Company of Yakima.

Best used as a late and/or dry hop, tropical fruit flavours abound, typically displaying grapefruit, mango and citrus.

Citra® is now the mostly widely grown variety in the US comprising 20% of the total acreage in the Pacific Northwest from the 2022 harvest.

Resistant to downy and powdery mildew, as well as verticillium wilt.
